Okay! I need to read this. I am 3 months post partum and all that it did to me was loosing weight due to breastfeeding. Been trying to eat a lot but not effectively yet. Sometimes I get dristracted by needs of our 3moths old, you can imagine. Will dig in a little deeper as soon as I get my baby to sleep. Been hard lately.
Hi, Kateřina! I'm so happy you found my podcast episode. First and foremost, you're VERY newly postpartum. Three months in is still such a blur, especially when you’re breastfeeding and constantly tending to your baby! It makes complete sense that eating well feels hard right now. <3
That said, a few simple habits can make a big difference. The biggest one is to make sure there’s a source of protein at every meal or snack (even if the meal is quick or imperfect). Think eggs, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, tofu, chicken, tuna, or even a protein shake you can sip while feeding your baby. Pairing that protein with something easy (fruit, toast, oats, leftovers) will help steady your energy and keep you feeling more nourished throughout the day.
Losing weight from breastfeeding is very common, and your body is working so hard. You’re not doing anything wrong. You just need steady fuel. And remember, this season is temporary!
Yes! So basically I dropped a TON of stats/info into Chat (my current exercise routine, height/weight/muscle mass/body fat—based on stats from my Hume scale—the foods I typically eat, my menstrual cycle, what my day-to-day looks like having two little kids, etc....) and then I told it I am on a mission to put on muscle and it helped me tweak my meals (mainly add more protein and carbs) to help me achieve muscle growth! I used a food scale to weigh and measure for about a month, and now I am able to eyeball everything! Hope this helps. <3

Love your closing thoughts—makes sense! Can you please rehash the info re: tracking macros with ChatGPT?
